In Year 8 students will study the following topics:
- File/folder structure
- Presentating to an audience with a purpose in mind
- Information: accuracy, validiity & bias
- Internet & websites
- E-safety
- Data modelling
- Data handling and hypothesis testing
- Processing text & graphics
- Sequencing instructions
As well as on-going monitoring of progress students will produce a portfolio of evidence at three points in the year called APP1, APP2 and APP3. At each point you will be know the national curriculum level and if it is low, secure or high.
